Parliamentary Secretaries of the 11th Government
On 21 April 1965, the members of the 18th Dáil met for the first time. Seán Lemass was appointed as Taoiseach by the president on the nomination of the Dáil. He proposed the members of the 11th Government of Ireland, a single-party Fianna Fáil government, which was approved by Dáil Éireann for appointment by the president. On the same day, Lemass appointed the Parliamentary Secretaries.[1]

Parliamentary Secretaries of the 12th Government
On 10 November 1966, after the resignation of Seán Lemass, Jack Lynch was appointed as Taoiseach by the president on the nomination of the Dáil. He proposed the members of the 12th Government of Ireland, which were approved by Dáil Éireann for appointment by the president on 16 November 1966. On the same day, Lemass appointed the Parliamentary Secretaries.[2]
