Parliamentary Secretaries of the 6th Dáil
On 11 October 1927, the members of the 6th Dáil met for the first time. W. T. Cosgrave was appointed as President of the Executive Council by the Governor-General on the nomination of the Dáil. He proposed the members of the 4th Executive Council of the Irish Free State, a Cumann na nGaedheal government in cooperation with the Farmers' Party, and they were approved by Dáil Éireann for appointment by the Governor-General. The Parliamentary Secretaries were appointed by the Executive Council.[1]

On 3 April 1930 the 5th Executive Council of the Irish Free State was approved by Dáil Éireann. It was also led by W. T. Cosgrave with the same ministers as the 4th Executive Council. The same Parliamentary Secretaries were re-appointed to the same offices.
