The town of Samahni (Urdu: سماہنی) is a town and tehsil headquarters in Bhimber District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. In Samahni about 50% of the border are touched by Indian-held Kashmir. Overall Samahni is sourounded by high mountains.

It has a famous tomb of Baba shadi shaheed. Ch muhammad Rashid(late) won 4 consecutive elections from Samahani. He also became advisor to Prime minister pakistan Shaheed benazir bhutto (late). Ch muhammad rashid was the most famous personality of valley Samahani.He developed many schools, roads and resolved electricity issues by providing electricity to Valley Samahani. Later Ch Ali shan soni a young politicuan contested elections against him and won. After the death of Ch muhammad rashid,Ch Ali shan soni won elections from samahani againat ch rashid (late) brother Ch muhammad razzaq( vice president PTI). Ch ali shan soni won three consective elections from Samahni. But unfortunately he failed to develop Samani despite of some golden chances.

Baghsar Fort is an attractive place for tourists which was built by Mugal empires.
