Praia Melão is a village and a beach in the north-eastern part of São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe and belongs to Me-Zochi District. Its 2008 population is 2,296.[1] It is located 6 km southeast of the capital São Tomé and is connected with the road linking with Pantufo and the east of the city near Ponta da Mina.
