Bobo Foro, other spellings: Bobô-Forro is a village in the north-eastern part of São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe and belongs to Me-Zochi District. Its 2008 population is 1,469.[1] Its etymology is likely of Angolan origin.
Guadalupe de Ceita along with Miguel Trovoada, Leonel Mário d'Alva, Filinta Costa Alegre and António Barreto Pires dos Santos (Oné) were in the area in mid-1958 for the creation of a convergence of struggle which would be the fruit of the Committee for the Liberation of São Tomé and Príncipe (CLSTP), the predecessor of MLSTP (Movimento de Libertação de São Tomé e Príncipe).
