21 West Street is a building located in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York City - on West Street between Morris Street and Washington Street. Originally designed as an office tower, it was converted into apartments in 1997, following a conversion trend that had been gradually picking up speed and gaining popularity in the 1980s and 90s, and was renamed 'Le Rivage Apartments'. In 2016 this 33-story tower was re-branded again, this time simply as '21 West Street'.[2]

It was built between 1929-31.[2] The building boasts the art-deco style of its day, with its many lavish architectural finishes and a series of setbacks that taper towards the top floors.
