Vulcânico suffered a loss where they defeated Mosteiros' Nô Pintcha 2-1. On April 8, they defeated Juventude 1-10 and overthrew the club from further participation in the Second Division for the following season, their two 10 goal matches were also the region's highest up to April 23. Another draw was made in their derby with Académica, one less with just a goal scored each on April 16. Their final match of the season was a 5-0 win over Botafogo. Their championship hopes that day were nearly hanging on a thread as Académica's goal scored reached 50 but afterwards got the maximum of 61 for that club and achieved their second straight title as they finished with points tying their 2004 totals along with their 14 wins which were shared by Académica do Fogo. On their highest scoring matches of the season, it became second behind Académica's 14-0 win over Baxada in the region but not overall which is 3rd, two behind Nova Era's 0-20 win over Brasilim of the first phase of the Second Division. The club scored a total of 66 goals which became a club record for Vulcânico, also the only difference was they scored five more goals than Académica.
