The 1928 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 40th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887.
Blackrock were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Mallow in the semi-final.
Éire Óg won the championship following a 5-2 to 3-2 defeat of Mallow in the final.[1] It remains their only championship title.
