Indian Creek, Florida

Indian Creek is a wealthy village in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. Within the village boundaries are 41 residential home sites and the Indian Creek Country Club. The population was 86 at the 2010 census and as of 2000, was the 5th highest-income place in Florida.

As of 2010, there were 33 households out of which 21.2% were vacant. In 2000, 14.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 28.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.3% were non-families. 14.3% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.33.

In 2000, the village population was spread out with 18.2% under the age of 18, 3.0% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 30.3% from 45 to 64, and 18.2% who were 65 years of age or older. Appleton, President of Appleton Electric Company and founder of the Appleton Museum of Art and Bridlewood Farm, and his wife Martha O'Driscoll a former Hollywood actress.
