Thodallullu (English: Co-Brothers) is a 1988 Telugu comedy film, produced by G. V. G. Raju on Vijaya Lakshmi Movies banner and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. Starring Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Gautami in the lead roles and music composed by Raj-Koti.[2][3]
Plot
The entire film is comic tale begins in a compound where 3 families live, Bhaskar (Rajendra Prasad) a bus conductor, Narasimham (Satyanarayana) a typist, Dharma Rao (Suthi Velu) an accountant. Narasimham has 3 daughters Lakshmi (Srilakshmi), Uma (Rajyalakshmi) & Aruna (Gauthami). His elder daughter Lakshmi got married, his son-in-law Mohan (Chandra Mohan) is a vagabond who lives with them and make them suffer. Narasimham is looking matches for second daughter Uma but not able to finalize due to dowry problems and his third daughter Aruna always look into heights who want to marry a rich person. Dharma Rao is a sincere & honest person who never take bribe but his wife Varalakshmi (P. R. Varalakshmi) spends excess by making debts to boast her greatness. Bhaskar is a wise guy who is cordial with everyone and set-rights their problems. He loves Aruna but she looks him down. Meanwhile, matches coming to Uma are continuously backing out when both Uma & Narasimham try to commit suicide but Bhaskar cleverly protects them. After that, he comes to know their opposite house LIC Agent Sudhakar (Subhalekha Sudhakar) is loving Uma, so, he fixes the alliance and performs their marriage. On the other hand, due to financial problems, Dharma Rao starts taking ransom but he is caught and loses his job. Besides that his elder daughter Rani (Rajitha) commits suicide. Bhaskar consoles him and gets back his job. Eventually, he reforms Mohan also. Now everyone asks Aruna to marry Bhaskar but she disagrees and talks low about him. Parallelly, Aruna goes into a trap of a cheater Ramesh (Vinod) with the help of Mohan & Sudhakar Bhaskar protects her when she understands his virtue. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Bhaskar & Aruna.
