Chinni Chinni Aasa (English: Small Small Hope) is a 1999 Telugu drama film, produced by Thalasani Shankar Yadav, Lingasetty Lakshman Goud and Athaili Srinivas Goud under the Lakshmi Sai Srinivasa Productions banner and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. It stars Rajendra Prasad and Indraja in the lead roles, with music composed by Raj. The film was inspired by the 1966 Telugu movie Manase Mandiram, starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri in pivotal roles, which itself is a remake of the Tamil movie Nenjil Or Aalayam (1962). The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[2]
Plot
Raja (Rajendra Prasad) & Aasa (Indraja) love each other and they get ready for engagement. Just the day before the engagement, Raja comes to know that he has blood cancer and is going to die in a few days. Even then, Aasa insists on him to marry her and forcibly makes him do so. The rest of the story is how Aasa's hope & faith protects Raja from his death.
