Pognana Lario (Comasco: Pugnana [puˈɲana]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Milan and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 871 and an area of 5.0 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi).[1]
