Carugo (Brianzöö: Carugh [kaˈryːk]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of Milan and about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) southeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,729 and an area of 4.1 square kilometres (1.6 sq mi).[1]
