Conde is a small mountain and a village in Lobata District on São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe. Its population is 1,807 (2008 est.),[1] its estimate 2015 population is likely over 2,000. Conde is also the seat of its own subdistrict that covers the central and the south of Lobata District. The village is located nearly ESE of Guadalupe on the EN-1 connecting São Tomé in the east-southeast and Neves to the west. Northeast is a small road connecting Micoló. Also southwest, is the settlement of Conde.
The village was founded by a count during Portuguese rule.
