Back Plains is a locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[1]

History

Back Plain Provisional School opened on 8 December 1879 but closed in 1883. It reopened as Back Plains State School in about 1919.[2]

Education

Back Plains State School is a co-educational government primary school (P-6). In 2016, it had an enrolment of 13 students with 2 teachers (1 full-time equivalent) and 4 non-teaching staff (2 full-time equivalent).[3]
