Stratford is a Metro-North Railroad station in Stratford, Connecticut, serving the New Haven Line. Although the station is usually served by express trains originating or terminating in New Haven, one peak-hour run of the Waterbury Branch stops each morning and evening, one peak-hour afternoon Shore Line East train, and the last Waterbury train of the day originates here.

The National Helicopter Museum is located in the eastbound (south side) station building, which no longer serves passengers.

The station has 294 parking spaces, all owned by the state.[1]

Station layout

This station has two high-level side platforms, each four cars long. The northern platform, adjacent to Track 3, is generally used by westbound trains. The southern platform, adjacent to Track 4, is generally used by eastbound trains.

The New Haven Line has four tracks at this location. The two inner tracks, not adjacent to either platform, are used only by express trains. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor services pass through the station on all four tracks.

A ticket purchasing kiosk is located at the exterior of the building on the northern platform station house.
