Redhill Wood

Redhill Wood is a site of Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It is based in Hamstead Marshall in Berkshire.[1] It is located within the North Wessex Downs.[2]

Geography

Redhill Wood covers an area of 29 hectares.[3] The woods are described as a Broadleave, mixed and yew woodland located in a lowland area.[4]

History

The wood was classed in 1985 as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.[5]
