Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa (International title: Envy / lit.You Were Just Picked Up from the Ground) is a 2017 Philippine television drama series broadcast by GMA Network. The series is based on the comic novel and the 1987 film of the same title. Directed by Gina Alajar, it stars Julie Anne San Jose and Benjamin Alves. It premiered on January 30, 2017 on the network's Afternoon Prime line up replacing Sa Piling ni Nanay and worldwide on GMA Pinoy TV.[2][3] The series concluded on April 12, 2017 with a total of 53 episodes. It was replaced by D' Originals in its timeslot.

The series is streaming online on HOOQ as video on demand.[4]

Julie Anne San Jose portrays Tina Marquez.
Benjamin Alves portrays Ephraim Esquivel.

Lead cast

The series lead female protagonist. Even she's growing up as an orphan, she is striving to improve up her life. Later on, she is getting hired by Diony to their restaurant as a chef and she is falling in love with Ephraim. She is only deserves that she and Angeli only just picked up from their ground. Now she rises up from the ground to turn the tables against her mortal enemy and oppressor Angeli.
The series lead male protagonist and Santina's love interest. Diony and Cesar's son. A boxing player. He is getting caught love between Santina and Angeli. He got killed in a violent car explosion which was caused by Mariz & Angeli. It is revealed that he faked his death and is actually alive.

The series lead female antagonist. At first, she is being outcast before she adopts Diony as her daughter, she is now being selfish and she's getting to look down on others. She hates Santina on her being productive and happy chef and she is unknownly have a conscience that she and Santina has just only picked up their ground. And even at the same time she became diabolical in her cruelty even in plotting to eliminate Santina as to go on with her murderous plot. In the end after she attempt to assassinate Santina & refuse to surrender herself to the authorities, she committed suicide by shooting herself in the head.

According to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement household ratings, the pilot episode of Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa earned an 11.4% rating.[5] While the final episode scored a 5.4% rating in Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement people in television homes.[6]
