Pennsylvania Auditor General election, 2016
The Pennsylvania Auditor General election of 2016 was held on November 8, 2016. The primary election was held on April 26, 2016.[1]
Candidates
Eugene DePasquale, incumbent Auditor General, was eligible for and ran for re-election to a second term. He won renomination in the Democratic primary. He faced Republican nominee John Brown, former mayor of Bangor, Pennsylvania, and Northampton County executive. Green nominee John Sweeney and Libertarian nominee Roy Minet also challenged DePasquale.[1][2]

On November 8, 2016, Eugene DePasquale defeated John Brown to be re-elected Auditor General of Pennsylvania.
