Nityanand Rai (born 1 January 1966) is a member of parliament elected in the 2014 General Election from Ujiarpur as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He had continuously represented Hajipur constituency in Bihar legislative assembly winning elections since 2000 (2000, Feb-2005, October 2005 and 2010) till he was elected for the parliament.[1] He is the current President of BJP Bihar.[2]
