Guntupalli Venkata Lakshmi Narasimha Rao is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party and is also a pollster (psephologist) and author.[1]

Career

He is part of the central committee of BJP, chaired by National President Amit Shah and currently serves as the national spokesperson for the BJP.[2] He hails from Ballikurava in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. He studied up to Intermediate in Narasaraopet in Guntur District, and did his Agricultural BSc degree in Bapatla Agricultural College and his MBA (PGDRM) from Institute of Rural Management(IRMA), Anand (Gujarat). He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh in March 2018.[3]

Car Accident and Allegations of leaving post-accident

Car belonging to BJP's GVL Narasimha Rao hits two women in Andhra Pradesh; one dead, other seriously injured. It was alleged that Rao left the spot soon after the accident. Rao Denied reports that he left immediately, he said that he was the one who arranged for an ambulance.[4] [5]
