Microsat is an Earth observing satellite developed by ISRO of India.[1] Its launch marked India's 100 satellites in space.[2] This satellite can capture images as night.[3]
Launch
The satellite was launched on January 12, 2018 by PSLV-C40. It was launched along with Cartosat-2F, INS-1C and 28 satellites from 6 countries[4]. Microsat was separated 1 hour, 45 minutes after first stage ignition.[5] The whole process took 2 hours and 21 minutes, making it the longest mission of PSLV so far.
