Line 22 (Guangzhou Metro)

Line 22 of Guangzhou Metro (Chinese: 广州地铁22号线; pinyin: Guǎngzhōu Dìtiě Èrshí'èr Hào Xiàn) is a rapid transit express line under construction in Guangzhou.^[2][3] It will run in a south-north direction, connecting Wanqingsha in Nansha, Panyu Square and Guangzhou South in Panyu, Xilang and Bai'etan in Liwan.

Summary

The line runs approximately north-south, starting at Nansha Wanqingsha hub and the end of the line at Bai'etan; connecting Nansha and Bai'etan, with a total length of 31.0 km (19.3 mi) and 10 stations. The Guangzhou Metro Line 22 has stations at Wanqingsha, Hengli, Panyu Square, Qifu, Guangzhou South Railway Station, Chentougang, Xisan, Dongsha Industrial Park, Xilang and Bai'etan. The Guangzhou Metro city express line, with a 8 cars train has a line operating speed is to 160 km/h (99 mph) . The line use the station stop and stop operation mode combination. The purpose is to shorten the time from Nansha to urban transportation hub, to stop the train station within 30 minutes from Bai'etan to Wanqinsha. In the early days of the traffic, the Panyu square is combined with the Line 18 in the south of the line, sharing the corridor of "Panyu square to Wanqingsha". The line completion of trial operation at the end of 2022.
