Lataro is an uninhabited island in Sanma Province of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean.[2][3][4]

The island is now privately owned.[5]

Geography

Lataro lies in Shark Bay off the eastern coast of Espiritu Santo and is flat.[6] The highest point of the island is 88 meters above the sea level. The island spans 1.9 km from the north to the south and 2.3 km from the east to the west.
