The Greater Gwalior Metro is a rapid transit system proposed for the city of Gwalior and other nearby towns in Gwalior Metropolitan Region in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The project was announced by state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on 17 October 2014. The survey has been started.

Proposed Lines

There are 3 lines proposed by the Rites Ltd Company Gurgaon as per the survey initials.

1. Gole ka Mandir to Padav via Railway station, Achaleshwar Temple, Kampoo, Maharaj Bada, Lala Ka bazar, Sambhaji colony, Kala sayed, AB road Station,

2. Purani Chavni to Link Road via alkapuri and Govindpuri.

3. It will connect nearby towns around Gwalior such as Malanpur, Banmore.[1][2][3][4][5]
