Chapel in Brenden (Doren)

In 1823, the church was built according to plans of the District Office Bregenz. Presumably, there was no predecessor. The consecration took place in 1826 and in 1853, it was raised to parish church.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was created in 1969 inspired by a design by the Schruns artist and heraldist Konrad Honold. It shows the two rivers Weißach and Bregenzerach, the deer antler stands for hunting.
