Ashish Sharma is an Indian film and television actor. He is recognized for his roles of Prithvi Vallabh in Prithvi Vallabh, Lord Ram[1] in Siya Ke Ram, Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in Rangrasiya and Chandragupta Maurya in Chandragupta Maurya.

Career

Ashish Sharma began his film career with the 2010 Hindi film Love Sex Aur Dhokha.[2] In the same year he starred as the male lead in Imagine TV's Gunahon Ka Devta.[3] He then delineated Chandragupta Maurya in the historical drama series Chandragupta Maurya.[4] He also appeared as Ranveer in Zee TV's Rab se Sona ishq. But it was his character,Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat,a BSD officer, in Colors TV's RangRasiya, that garnered him both critical and audience appreciation. He was the winner of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7 in 2014. He was also the host of the radio show Tujhse Naaraaz Nahin Zindagi[5]

Personal life

On 30 January 2013, Ashish married television actress Archana Taide.[6][7]
