Geeta Tyagi is an Indian television actress.[1] She is known for portraying the role of Shashikala Rathore on Lies of the Heart [2] and Bimla Agarwal on Aap Ke Aa Jane Se, that airs on Zee TV.

Career

Tyagi started her acting career in 1998. In 2009, she bagged the role of Nalini in Dehleez. In 2012, she bagged the role in the series Punar Vivah as Shobha Satyendra Dubey.[3] In 2013, she was cast in Ek Boond Ishq as Aradhana[4] As well as Shashikala Rudra Singh Rathore on Lies of the Heart.[5] In 2016, she joined the cast of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste as Manju Tiwari.[6] In late 2017, she was cast in Aap Ke Aa Jane Se as Bimla Agarwal.

Personal life

Geeta got married at the age of 45 to Vijay Tyagi. They are blessed with twins, Atharva and Malhar Tyagi (born in 2017).
