Neha Marda (born 23 September 1985) is an Indian television actress, popularly known as 'Urmi' for her role in the Doli Armaano Ki series broadcast by Zee TV.[1] She also played the role of Gehna in Colors TV's show Balika Vadhu.[2][3]
Personal life
Neha is a native of Mumbai.
On 10 February 2012, in Kolkata, she married Ayushman Agrawal, a Patna-based businessman,[4] in an arranged marriage.[5]
On 1 July 2018, she founded an academy in Patna known as the Royal Opera House Academy(ROHA) that provides training in dance, drama and singing to performing arts enthusiasts.[6][7]
Performances
Neha Marda is popularly known as 'Gehna' for her role in the Balika Vadhu series. According to Jyothi Venkatesh, Neha said, "she watched the CDs of Bandit Queen to get into the skin of her character Gehna in Balika Vadhu."[8]
She appeared in the dance shows Boogie Woogie and Kaboom.[9]
