The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) is a local county law enforcement agency that serves both Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The ACSO focuses on a number of tasks as an arm of the court, including: court security, writ services, sheriff sales, prisoner transportation, license to carry concealed firearms, warrants, crime prevention and K9 Unit. In some instances, the Sheriff's Office will complement local departments that do not have the capacity to handle specific situations.

Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Honus Wagner was a deputy sheriff. He ran for Sheriff, but lost.
