The Mall at Robinson is a two-level, enclosed super-regional shopping mall located just off the Parkway West (I-376) and PA Route 60 in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, five minutes east of the Pittsburgh International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Opened in March 2002, it consists of 872,000 square feet (81,000 m2) of retail space and sits on over 200 acres (0.81 km2). The mall is owned and operated by QIC, an Australian investment firm.

The mall sits adjacent to Robinson Town Centre, located in the center of a growing retail area that includes the newly built Settlers Ridge and The Pointe at North Fayette in North Fayette Township.

On October 4, 2017, ForestCity announced that it would sell the mall to QIC, along with 10 other properties, for about $3.175 Billion.[1] The deal closed on February 16, 2018.[2]

Anchors

Anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, and Macy's (formerly Kaufmann's).

Macy's is the northern-most anchor and the former Sears served as the southern-most anchor. The Dick's Sporting Goods store sits in the south east corner with JCPenney situated on the west side of the two-floor complex.

A free-standing Kaufmann's department store was built in the year 1998 and sat as the only operating store until the remainder of the mall property was opened in March 2002.

On May 31, 2018, Sears announced that their Robinson location would be closing in September 2018, as part of a plan to close 72 stores nationwide. The store closed September 2, 2018 [3][4]

It was announced that the first Pittsburgh-based two level Wegmans will be the replacement of Sears, will a scheduled opening in the Summer 2019 with construction beginning in the fall of 2018.[5]

Charlie Batch, former Pittsburgh steeler is opening up a sports-bar and grill "Batch 16" at a spot formerly operated by Holihan's scheduled to open in 2019.

Stores

The mall is home to over 150 stores including Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic, Charlotte Russe, Gap, Hot Topic, LOFT, PacSun, FYE, and Victoria's Secret. The mall's food court sits on the second floor near the former Sears store.

Surrounding area

The surrounding area is covered with restaurants and other stores including Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant, Cold Stone Creamery, Applebee's, Eat'n Park, IKEA, and numerous plazas, among them the Robinson Town Centre and The Pointe at North Fayette.
