Selection procedure- Four US-based teams qualify for the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League. Due to a change in format to the tournament, two qualifiers will come from each of the 2017 and 2018 MLS seasons.[39] This combined qualification method will be used for the 2019 tournament only.
