  • The highest number of points achieved by a team at home during a regular season is 42 (13-3-1) by Toronto FC in 2017. Previously, it was 41 (12–5–0) by Los Angeles Galaxy in 2011 and (13-2-2) by the New York Red Bulls in 2016.
  • The highest number of points achieved by a team on the road during a regular season was 37 (13–3), by the Los Angeles Galaxy in 1998.
