The 1963–64 Iraqi Central League Championship was the 8th season of the Iraqi Central League (the top division of football in central Iraq (i.e. the capital city of Baghdad) from 1956 to 1974), and the first under the name of League Championship. Prior to the season, Aliyat Al-Shorta won promotion by beating Al-Omma 2–0 on 29 June 1963; they would eventually finish third in their maiden season in the top-flight. The winners of the league were Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, who won their third title.[1]
