The 1958–59 Iraqi Central Cup Championship was the 3rd season of the Iraqi Central League (the top division of football in central Iraq (i.e. the capital city of Baghdad) from 1956 to 1974). It was played as a double-elimination tournament, with the teams that got knocked out earliest being relegated. Amanat Al-Asima won their first title, and the second title in the history of the teams that were later merged to form Amanat Baghdad. They beat Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya (who were known as Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Al-Malikiya in the previous season) in the final.[1][2]
