The 1959–60 Iraqi Central Cup Championship was the 4th season of the Iraqi Central League (the top division of football in central Iraq (i.e. the capital city of Baghdad) from 1956 to 1974). It was played as a double-elimination tournament, with the teams that got knocked out earliest being relegated. Al-Athori won their only major trophy to date, beating Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya 3–0 in the final on 6 May 1960.[1][2]
