The 1960–61 Iraqi Central Cup Championship was the 5th season of the Iraqi Central League (the top division of football in central Iraq (i.e. the capital city of Baghdad) from 1956 to 1974). It was played as a double-elimination tournament, with the teams that got knocked out earliest being relegated. Maslahat Naqil Al-Rukab won their second title, and the third title in the history of the teams that were later merged to form Amanat Baghdad.[1][2]
