Larry Sng

Larry Sng Wei Shien (simplified Chinese: 孙伟瑄; traditional Chinese: 孫偉瑄; pinyin: Sūn Wěi Xuān), is a Malaysian politician. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.[1] He was the former Assistant Minister in the State Government of Sarawak under the Abdul Taib Mahmud administration.[2]

He is married to May Ting, the daughter of business magnate, Ting Pek Khiing.[3]

In the 2018 general election (GE14), Sng was elected to the Parliament of Malaysia for the Julau constituency as an independent candidate.[4] He won 10,105 of the 18,279 votes cast[4] to defeat the four-term incumbent Joseph Salang Gandum.[5] He joined the PKR shortly after the election.[6]
