Korukkupet shares its boundaries with other areas of Chennai, including Mint, Basin Bridge—about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south—and Tondiarpet in North & Washermanpet in East & BUCHKIGAM canal, vyasarpadi in West. Its Pincode is 600021.RTO-code is Template:TN-03

Infrastructure

As of 2010, a flyover is under construction at the Cocraine Basin Road level crossing which is expected to ease congestion in the area; however, it has been delayed.[1]
