Jonah Arenado (born February 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the San Francisco Giants organization.
Arenado attended El Toro High School in Lake Forest, California.[1] The San Francisco Giants selected him in the 16th round of the 2013 MLB draft. In 2017, he played for the San Jose Giants of the Class A-Advanced California League.[2][3] He was promoted to the Richmond Flying Squirrels of the Class AA Eastern League in 2018.[4][5]
Arenado's brother is Nolan Arenado.[6]

Michael Cederoth

Michael Sean Cederoth (born November 25, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization. He previously played college baseball for the San Diego State Aztecs.
Cederoth attended Steele Canyon High School in Spring Valley, California. The Arizona Diamondbacks selected Cederoth in the 41st round of the 2011 MLB Draft, but he did not sign. He enrolled at San Diego State University to play college baseball for the San Diego State Aztecs baseball team. In 2012, his sophomore year, he suffered a broken jaw when a line drive struck him in the face.[7] Due to inconsistency in his freshman and sophomore year, the Aztecs transitioned Cederoth into a relief pitcher in 2014, his junior year.[8] Serving as the Aztecs' closer, Cederoth had a 6-2 win–loss record, 20 saves, a 2.28 earned run average, and 55 strikeouts in 51 2⁄3 innings pitched. After the season, Louisville Slugger named Cederoth a First Team All-American.[9]
The Minnesota Twins selected Cederoth in the third round, with the 79th overall selection, of the 2014 MLB Draft.[10] After he signed, he pitched for the Elizabethton Twins of the Rookie-level Appalachian League where he posted a 4-2 record with a 3.55 ERA. In 2015, he pitched for the Cedar Rapids Kernels, where he went 1-4 with a 4.08 ERA. Cederoth returned to the Kernels in 2016 where he greatly improved, going 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA in 47.2 innings pitched. The Twins released Cederoth in 2017 and he was signed by the San Francisco Giants. The Giants assigned him to the San Jose Giants, where he posted a 3.20 ERA in 25.1 innings.[11]

Samuel Timothy Coonrod (born September 22, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Coonrod played college baseball at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.[12] He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the fifth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[13][14] He made his professional debut that year with the Arizona League Giants and spent the whole season there, posting a 1-0 record and 3.90 ERA in 27.2 innings pitched. Coonrod played for the Augusta GreenJackets in 2015 where he pitched to a 7-5 record and 3.14 ERA in 23 games (22 starts). [15][16] In 2016, he pitched for both the San Jose Giants and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, posting a combined 9-6 record and 2.55 ERA with a 1.17 WHIP in a total of 24 games started between both teams. Coonrod returned to Richmond in 2017, spending the whole season there, going 4-11 with a 4.69 ERA.[17]

Tyler O'Neil Cyr (born May 5, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Cyr attended John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont, California and played college baseball at Skyline College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.[18] He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 10th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[19] He spent his first professional season with both the Arizona League Giants and the Augusta GreenJackets, posting a combined 2-2 record and 4.98 ERA in 12 games between both teams. Cyr began 2016 with Augusta, and after pitching to a 2.31 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 50.2 innings, was promoted to the San Jose Giants, where he finished the season with a 2-1 record and 2.35 ERA in 23 innings.
In 2017, Cyr played for the Richmond Flying Squirrels[20] where he went 5-2 with a 2.19 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 49.1 innings pitched.[21] After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League and was selected to play in the Fall Stars Game.[22]

Julián Antonio Fernández (born December 5, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball.
Fernández signed with the Colorado Rockies in 2012 out of the Dominican Republic. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the DSL Rockies where he compiled a 1-1 record and 7.94 ERA in ten games. In 2014, he returned to the DSL, posting a 1-0 record and 5.60 ERA in 18 relief appearances, and in 2015, he split time between the DSL and the Grand Junction Rockies, pitching to a combined 3-2 record, 3.55 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in 28 total games between the two clubs. He spent 2016 with the Boise Hawks, going 1-2 with a 1.17 ERA in 21 appearances out of the bullpen, and 2017 with the Asheville Tourists, posting a 1-2 record and 3.26 ERA with 57 strikeouts in 51 games.[23]
The Giants selected Fernández from the Colorado Rockies organization with the second selection the 2017 Rule 5 draft.[24] He underwent Tommy John Surgery and will miss the 2018 season.

Ian James Gardeck (born November 21, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants organization.
Gardeck graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois.[25] He began his college baseball career at the University of Dayton, before transferring to Angelina College for his sophomore year.[26] The Chicago White Sox selected Gardeck in the eighth round, with the 261st overall selection, of the 2011 MLB draft, but Gardeck instead transferred to the University of Alabama to continue his college career. The San Francisco Giants selected him in the 16th round of the 2012 MLB draft,[27] and he signed with the Giants.
After the 2015 season, the Giants added Gardeck to their 40-man roster.[28]

Joan Gregorio (born January 12, 1992) is a professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants.
The Giants added Gregorio to their 40-man roster on November 20, 2014. On July 1, 2017, Gregorio was suspended for the remainder of the season after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.[29] He was designated for assignment on February 19, 2018. [30]

Tyler Matthew Herb (born April 28, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization
Herb attended Williams Valley High School in Tower City, Pennsylvania and played college baseball at Coastal Carolina University. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 29th round of the 2014 MLB Draft.[31] He signed and spent 2014 with the AZL Mariners, High Desert Mavericks, and Clinton LumberKings, pitching to a combined 3-4 record and 4.62 ERA in 20 relief appearances between the three teams. In 2015, he played for Clinton, compiling a 7-8 record and 4.64 ERA in 27 starts, and in 2016, he pitched for both the Bakersfield Blaze and Jackson Generals, posting a combined 9-6 record and 3.98 ERA with 134 strikeouts in 26 total starts between the two teams. Herb began 2017 with the Arkansas Travelers.
On July 3, 2017, Herb was traded to the San Francisco Giants for cash.[32] San Francisco assigned him to the Richmond Flying Squirrels, where he finished the season. In 26 total starts between Arkansas and Richmond, he was 8-7 with a 3.09 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.[33]
The Giants added him to their 40-man roster after the 2017 season.[34]

Chase Lucas Johnson (born January 9, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Johnson was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 26th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of Fallbrook Union High School in Fallbrook, California.[35] He did not sign with the Rangers and played college baseball at California Polytechnic State University. He was then drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the third round of the 2013 MLB draft.[36] He signed with the Giants and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Giants and later promoted to the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. In 13 games between both teams, he went 4-2 with a 3.88 ERA. Johnson spent 2014 with the Augusta GreenJackets[37] and compiled a 4-7 record, 4.57 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 23 games (22 starts), and 2015 with both the San Jose Giants and Richmond Flying Squirrels,[38] posting a combined 9-4 record with a 2.82 ERA in 23 games (21 starts). Johnson spent 2016 with Richmond where he pitched to a 1-4 record and 3.27 ERA in 52.1 innings. The Giants added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[39] In 2017, he pitched only 10.1 innings[40] before he underwent Tommy John surgery in May, ending his season.[41]

Matt Lipka

Matthew F. Lipka (born April 15, 1992) is a professional baseball player in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Lipka attended McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas.[42] The Atlanta Braves selected Lipka in the first round (35th overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft. In 2011, the Braves had Lipka shift to center field.[43]
Lipka played for the Lynchburg Hillcats of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League in 2013,[44] and the Mississippi Braves of the Class AA Southern League in 2014. He returned to Mississippi to start the 2015 season.[45] Lipka was reassigned to Mississippi to begin 2016.[46] By mid-June, he had been promoted to Gwinnett.[47] He finished 2016 with a .243 batting average and 3 homers.[48] After the season, Lipka became a free agent and signed with the Texas Rangers.[49]

Philip David McCormick (born September 7, 1988) is a professional baseball pitcher currently with the Richmond Flying Squirrels in the San Francisco Giants minor league system.
He was born in Wildwood, Missouri and attended Lafayette High School in Wildwood before going University of Missouri. He spent four seasons playing at Missouri, going 0-1 with a 8.10 ERA in four relief appearances his first season (2008), 1-1 with a 7.25 ERA in 30 games (two starts) his sophomore year, 6-1 with a 4.40 ERA in 36 relief appearances in 2010 (breaking the school record for appearances in a season)[50] and 1-1 with a 5.63 ERA in five games his last year. The Giants drafted him in the 31st round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.[51]
In his first professional season, he went 1-1 with a 1.19 ERA in 23 games for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. He led all Northwest League pitchers with over 20 appearances in ERA and led the team in saves (6) and WHIP (min. 15 IP; 0.989). In 2012, he was 3-1 with a 3.48 mark in 61 games for the San Jose Giants, striking out 54 in 51 2/3 innings and leading the California League in games. In 2013, he was 4-5 with 3 saves and a 3.97 ERA in 58 games for the Richmond Flying Squirrels, again averaging more than a strikeout per innings. He was second in the Eastern League in appearances and first on the team. He led the league in holds. Entering 2014, he was listed among the Giants top prospects.[52][53] That year, he was 2-4 with a 3.74 ERA in 50 games for Richmond. He began 2015 back with Richmond.

Heath Mitchell Quinn (born June 7, 1995) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Quinn attended Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 12th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign and attended Samford University, where he played college baseball.[54] After his junior year, he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the third round of the 2016 MLB Draft.[55][56]
Quinn made his professional debut with the Arizona League Giants and was later promoted to the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and San Jose Giants during the season.[57] He posted a combined .344 batting average with nine home runs, 34 RBIs and a .998 OPS in sixty total games between both teams. He returned to San Jose in 2017 and spent the whole season there, batting .228 with ten home runs and 29 RBIs.[58]

Webb attended Rocklin High School in Rocklin, California. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the fourth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[59] He made his professional debut with the Arizona League Giants.
Webb played 2015 with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and 2016 with the Augusta GreenJackets. In 2016, he underwent Tommy John Surgery.[60] He returned in 2017 with Salem-Keizer. In 2018, Webb pitched for the San Jose Giants and Richmond Flying Squirrels.[61][62]
