Skakavac is a waterfall located 12 km from Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its height is about 98 m.[1]
In 2002, Skakavac waterfall with its surroundings is declared by Sarajevo Canton as monument of nature.[2]
Name
The name Skakavac means grasshopper in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian.
