Pikárec is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality has an area of 8.45 square kilometres (3.26 sq mi), and a population of 321 (as at 2 October 2006).

Pikárec is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Žďár nad Sázavou, 39 km (24 mi) east of Jihlava, and 142 km (88 mi) southeast of Prague.

The Second World War fighter ace Josef Stehlík, who served in both the French Air Force and the Royal Air Force, was born in Pikárec in 1915.[1]
