Maddilapalem is an area of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.[1]

It has a major road junction called the Maddilapalem Junction, which is among the busiest in the city. The roads leading from the junction lead to Asilmetta, Dwaraka Nagar, and Madhurawada. There are many notable institutions and organizations in this area, such as AU College of Engineering, VS Krishna College, Ashok Leyland Auto Manufactures, Jayabheri Maruthi Institutions etc. Kalabharathi Auditorium is in Pithapuram Colony which is close to the Maddilapalem Bus Station.

Maddilapalem is one of the major commercial and residential suburbs in Visakhapatnam. The Visakhapatnam BRTS connects Maddilapalem to Asilmetta. Maddilapalem was an initially a small suburb outside of Visakhapatnam.

CMR Central is located at Maddilapalem Junction. It is one of the largest shopping mall in Visakhapatnam City. CMR Central is now a landmark of Maddilapalem.

Maddilapalem is connected by the National Highway. APSRTC running a bus depot and bus station for maddilapalem. Buses are run by the state-owned APSRTC, and is well connected to all parts of Visakhapatnam. Some buses are available from railway station 211,222,900,69,25R,25J.[2]
