Lalbandi is a Municipality in Sarlahi District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Jabdi, Lalbandi and Pattharkot VDCs.[1][2] At the time of the 2011 Nepal Census it had a population of 14583 people living in 3295 individual households. The famous place of lalbandi municipalities are: Dumdume temple, durga mandir, Panch kumari, jalkani, city departmental stores etc [3]

This place is famous for highest production of tomato in the nation and shares significant quantity for supply of vegetables and fruits. This place is also famous for different kinds of businesses . Here the first department store also opened on 2016(city stores ) city stores is one of famous place for buying goods. [4]
