High Institute of Sciences and Health (Instituto Superior de Ciências e Saúde) are one of four campuses of the University of São Tomé and Príncipe. it is located the neighborhood of Campo de Milho in the south of the capital city of São Tomé. The college offers medical and health courses. Located next is Dr. Ayres de Menezes Hospital.
History
The medical college was first founded in 1947 and was known as the School of Nursing (Escola de Enfermagem de de São Tomé),[1] it closed in 1952. In 1983, it was restored as the School of Training for Health Dr. Victor Sá Machado, on 18 October, 2003, it became under the auspices of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Victor Sá Machado Institute of Health Sciences ("Instituto de Ciências da Saúde "Victor Sá Machado" (ICS-VSM)),[2] it became a campus of the university being one of four in 2014. It was changed to its current name on September 12, 2016.[3]

- Baccalaureate in Anesthesia (or Anesthaesia)
- Complement on the media formation in pharmacy

- Specialization in instrumental surgery
