Centro hospitalar de São Tomé, the São Tomé Central Hospital, also known as Hospital Dr. Ayres Menezes[1][2] is a hospital in the capital city of São Tomé in São Tomé and Príncipe. Located next is the USTP's High Institute of Sciences and Health.

The Santomean government keeps the task to keep the facilities of the standard hospital. Some patients have to visit other countries.

Both in 2006 and in 2009, foreign aid was received by the Americans and Portuguese respectively, a provision for hemodialysis.[3]

In late June 2017, a new diagnostic service was opened.[4]
