Filipa Barroso (born 12 December 1998) is a Portuguese model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss República Portuguesa 2017 and represented Portugal at the Miss World 2017 and Miss Universe 2018 pageant.[1]

Early life

Filipa was born and raised in Setúbal, Portugal. She is a Hula Hoop Dancer and future Vet. She completed a pre-university course and would eventually like to become a Vet and beable to support animal rights.

Pageantry

Miss República Portuguesa 2017

Filipa was crowned as Miss República Portuguesa 2017 pageant on 29 July 2017. She succeeded outgoing Miss República Portuguesa 2016 Cristiana Viana.[2]

Miss World 2017

Filipa represented Portugal at the Miss World 2017 pageant in Sanya, China where she did not place in the top 40.

Miss Universe 2018

Filipa also represented Portugal at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.[3]
