Sonia Fergina Citra (born April 27, 1993[1][2][3][4]) is an Indonesian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Puteri Indonesia 2018. She will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2018.[5]

Personal life

Sonia was born on April 27 1993 in Tanjung Pandan, Bangka Belitung. Sonia works for a national distributor company in Jakarta as a Digital Marketer. Sonia started her career as a model in 2005, through the selection of Bangka Belitung Youth Model Faces. She is the youngest of her 6 siblings and loves Muay Thai sport, Taekwondo and Capoeira. She is active in various social causes associated with the organization “Diberi Untuk Memberi.” Sonia helps in providing free food to janitors, school renovation and education assistance, and she is also involved in environmental conservation activities related coral reef adoption at Tanjung Kelayang beach, Belitung.[1]

Puteri Indonesia 2018

On March 9, 2018, she was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2018 at the Jakarta Convention Center by outgoing title-holder Bunga Jelitha.[6][7]

Miss Universe 2018

She will now represent Indonesia in Miss Universe 2018 where Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.
