Enyne

The structure of a typical enyne group.

An enyne is a functional group in organic chemistry consisting of a conjugated alkyne and alkene group.[1] It has both a double bond and a triple bond.

The term is a contraction of the terms alkene and alkyne.

The simplist enyne is vinylacetylene.
