List of districts of Madhya Pradesh
The Indian State of Madhya Pradesh came into existence on 1 November, 1956. Madhya Pradesh has various regions but which have no official administrative governmental status but they are purely geographic regions; some correspond to historic countries, states or provinces. Currently the number of districts in the state is 52.[1] These districts are grouped into ten administrative divisions. The regions and district in Madhya Pradesh is shown below.

Divisions and Districts
There are total 52 districts in Madhya Pradesh divided in ten divisions.[2][3] A new district, Niwari, was created in October 2018 by partitioning Tikamgarh district.[1]
